All About Me

Tutoring

Donna Marie Wagner

Hi, this is my teacher and librarian resource site. Most of my stuff is free but occasionally you may be asked to purchase an original unit or plans that took me extra time and effort to complete. I will be updating my site as much as possible. Here is a question and answer format to introduce myself. Every year we ask our students to tell us about themselves so here is my data

Name: Donna Marie Wagner

We also have a guinea pig, named, Dewey who is now 3 years old and was the former library mascot where I worked in Houston.

I recently completed writing my 1st children’s book and am looking for a place to publish it. I also do freelance article and magazine writing (a newly acquired opportunity)
Other projects: Tutoring for a private tutoring agency in the Houston area, my own private tutoring business and I am working on several other entrepreneurial projects.

Favorites:

Color: Pink
Food: Pizza and steak (not together)
Dessert: Chocolate anything
Time of Day: Early Evening
Season: Summer
Movie: The Burbs
Actor: Tom Hanks
Actress: Sandra Bullock
Place I’ve been: At home with my kids on Christmas morning.
TV show: Eureka (at present)
Clothes: Blue jeans, t-shirts and sneakers (any color)
Hobbies and Interests: I have to read everyday, anything and everything I can; children and young adult books (mostly fantasy, science fiction and mystery), Adult fiction and mystery (I prefer British writing in this genre) and lots of non-fiction. I am still looking for a really good biography on Albert Einstein. I also like to go swimming, walking, camping, gardening and watching movies rather than tv.
Goals for my golden years: I’d love to be established as an educational entrepreneur, have made a difference in the lives of children and adults who desire to learn and promote literacy and reading in a more peaceful world. Once I officially retire I’d like to travel with my husband around the United States and discover the beauty of the world around me. I would of course enjoy doing that with pink fuzzy slippers!

I hope you enjoy my site and feel free to contribute your ideas. Thanks for your support.
